If you are interested in teeth straightening treatment, we begin with a consultation in our welcoming practice. We examine your mouth and assess your case, making sure you are suitable for Invisalign aligners, and discuss the treatment process with you.
We use state-of-the-art equipment to take precise images and scans of your teeth, and use these along with 3D technology to create your personalised digital treatment plan and aligners. Using specialised ClinCheck software, we can show you exactly how your teeth will move during Invisalign treatment, and even a preview of your new straight smile!
Your clear aligners are created to exactly fit your mouth. Over the course of your treatment, you wear a different aligner each week, allowing the carefully controlled forces to gradually shift your teeth to better positions. We see you for regular appointments to make sure you are making good progress and your treatment is on track.
When you have worn your last set of clear aligners, your treatment is complete! We make sure you are happy with your new smile, and give you a custom-made retainer to help keep your teeth in their new straight positions. We love seeing your new confident smile!
Invisalign clear aligners are an innovative and near-invisible orthodontic option, very popular with adults looking for a discreet way to straighten their teeth. The treatment uses a series of custom clear aligners to gradually move your teeth, with no metal included for a comfortable and aesthetic solution.
Invisalign treatment fits perfectly into your daily life and routines, and you can continue to eat and drink whatever you choose with removable aligners. Simply remember to put your aligners back in your mouth as soon as you can after eating, and wear them for at least 22 hours a day for the best possible results.

Dr Monika Redman has a special interest in orthodontics, and loves helping her patients improve their smiles and regain their confidence with clear aligners. She is friendly and welcoming, making everyone feel at ease in her care.

Clear aligners are mouth trays custom-made from transparent plastic material to fit snugly and comfortably over your teeth. They exert gentle forces onto your teeth when worn, gradually moving your teeth into straighter positions. Each set of aligners in the treatment series is subtly different, helping your teeth get closer to your dream smile.
Clear braces are a more discreet alternative to traditional metal braces, as they can’t be seen when worn. They are also popular due to their removable nature, requiring no changes to your diet or lifestyle. Traditional metal braces are very visible and fixed into place for the duration of treatment.
Invisalign treatment is suitable for adults and teens wanting to straighten their teeth in a less obvious way. It is particularly useful for cases of adult orthodontic relapse. During your initial consultation, we assess your case and make sure you are suitable for Invisalign treatment before continuing.
The duration of treatment with clear or invisible aligners varies depending on the complexity of each case. It typically takes 12-18 months on average, although treatment could take as little as six months in mild cases.
The terms invisible aligners and invisible braces are often used interchangeably to refer to discreet orthodontic treatment, such as Invisalign clear aligners. Generally, invisible aligners are removable while ‘invisible’ braces use tooth-coloured brackets and wires for a more discreet look.
Invisalign treatment uses a series of custom-made clear aligners to gradually shift teeth into their desired positions. Patients wear each aligner for a specific period before moving on to the next in the series.
Invisalign clear aligners are generally considered to be a more comfortable option than traditional braces. There may be some mild discomfort when switching to a new aligner, but this usually subsides quickly.
The cost of Invisalign clear aligners varies depending on the complexity of the case and the length of treatment. You can find a guide to our fees on our website, and we give you a more detailed estimate during your initial consultation.
While Invisalign clear aligners can treat a wide range of orthodontic issues, they may not be suitable for all cases. It is typically best suited to mild to moderate misalignment, crooked teeth, or bite problems. A consultation with an orthodontist will determine if Invisalign treatment is the right option for you.
Invisalign aligners are typically changed every 1-2 weeks, based on your personalised treatment plan. Your dentist will go over this with you in detail, and is always there to help if you need it.
Following your Invisalign treatment, you need to wear a retainer to stop your teeth moving back to their former position. We advise you to wear your retainer overnight for as long as you want straight teeth!
