We also always have a consultation first to ensure you are suitable and explain the procedure and effects.

The effects of anti-wrinkle treatment typically last for 3-6 months, but this can vary from person to person. You can prolong the effects and maintain your more youthful appearance with regular top-up treatments at our practice.

There is no specific age that is best to consider anti-wrinkle treatments, as it depends on each individual and their lifestyle. Some people have anti-wrinkle treatments in their late 20s or early 30s as a preventative measure, while others wait until they have developed established wrinkles.

During your anti-wrinkle treatment appointment, we use fine needles to inject the regulated product into the targeted areas of your face. The procedure is quick and most people find it comfortable, although we can use local anaesthetic to numb the specific area if preferred. Afterwards, you may see some slight redness or tenderness, but this is temporary. At Spring Shaw, all our anti-wrinkle procedures include a post-treatment review after two weeks, where we can check your progress and make minor enhancements if needed.

Most patients find anti-wrinkle injections to be comfortable and pain-free. A numbing cream or local anaesthetic can be used if preferred.
