Will graduated with honours from King’s College, London, undertaking training at the prestigious Guy’s Hospital, where he was awarded the Tom Pitt-Ford prize in Endodontics. Following this, he achieved his postgraduate certificate in primary dental care.

Will enjoys taking time to get to know his patients and fully understand their dental needs. He focuses on preventative and minimally-invasive dentistry. He is particularly keen on non-invasive cosmetic techniques.

Will is also an Invisalign treatment provider, helping to straighten teeth through a simple sequence of clear aligners.

James qualified from Cardiff University. He worked in private practice in Kent, gaining experience in restorative dentistry before managing his own practice in Surrey for several years.

James is well known for his gentle and caring approach. He has a well-established reputation from his time at Camberley Dental Clinic, and brought a wealth of experience and skills to Spring Shaw Dental.

James carries out all aspects of general dentistry, and has an interest in minimally-invasive treatment. He is committed to helping his patients manage their dental concerns, maintain their dental health, and achieve their dream results.

Outside of dentistry, James has a keen interest in racquet sports and spends his free time on the badminton and tennis courts. He loves anything outdoors and has racked up many miles on his trusted bike.

Dr. David Bevan qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1999. Following his vocational training, he undertook Senior House Officer posts in Oral Surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Orthodontics at The Albert and Edward Infirmary, before working as a Clinical Assistant at Withybush Hospital.

After his hospital posts, David returned to general practice, spending many years in private practice in London before relocating to Tonbridge, where he has lived for the past 15 years and started a family.

Committed to continually improving his skills and knowledge, David completed the Dawson Academy Advanced Dentistry Core Curriculum in St. Petersburg, Florida. He also attended the Aesthetic Advantage Program at New York University. After attending the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s Scientific Conference in 2005, he was inspired by a lecture by Newton Fahl and subsequently attended his live patient course in Brazil.

More recently, David completed an MSc in Advanced General Dental Practice at King’s College London and a PG Cert in Implantology in London. He is currently studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics.

Outside of dentistry, David enjoys exercise, running, and spending time with his family of 3 boys and Labrador, Lottie.

Gerry graduated from Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 1997. After relocating to the UK, he worked in practices in London and Kent, where he gained extensive experience in oral surgery.

In 2009, Gerry was accepted for a Master’s degree in Oral Surgery. He then went on to complete a Master’s degree in Implantology. This enabled him to focus his clinical time between oral surgery and implant dentistry, which he now does full time.

Gerry is passionate about education and the future of dental implants. He is a valued mentor on the MSc implant course for the University of Central Lancashire, and enjoys being able to share his knowledge, passion and experience with his students, teaching them to become the future of implant dentistry.

Gerry believes in continuous education and knowledge, and regularly attends courses to keep updated with the latest developments and new techniques. This allows him to provide the very best care for his patients.

Gerry is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons and the International Team of Implantology.

Monika qualified as a dentist in Poznan, Poland, in 2011 and moved to the UK in 2015. Since then, she has been practising dentistry in London and the South East, and has a special interest in orthodontics.

Monika holds a PhD in temporomandibular joint disorders and completed a diploma in clear aligner therapy in 2021. She is undergoing an MSc in Clinical Orthodontics at Ulster University with the world-renowned Parmjit Singh.

Monika loves helping her patients improve their smiles and regain their confidence.

Dr. Pujaa Patel qualified from the University of Manchester in 2014 and has a decade worth of experience. Her passion for root canal treatments has led her to study further and she is completing a Master’s programme in Endodontics at Queen Mary University of London.

Pujaa combines advanced techniques and a patient-centered approach to ensure that the root canal procedures are carried out safely and effectively. She is keen about staying at the forefront of the field, regularly participates in continuing education and is an active member of the British Endodontic Society. Pujaa prides herself on her drive for perfection and is committed to making every patient feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment journey.

Dayna trained and worked in the dental profession in Canada for ten years, before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2002. In London, she chose to retrain within the British dental community for additional qualifications. She completed her British qualification in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in March 2008.

Subsequently, Dayna has worked at a selection of dental practices across Surrey and Kent, and we are delighted to have her at Spring Shaw.

With her many years of training and experience, Dayna certainly has the ability to communicate and relate well with people, and is very popular with our patients. She manages to provide a very thorough dental hygiene appointment with a gentle and sensitive approach.

Samantha started her career as a dental nurse after leaving school. In 2005, she gained her NEBDN qualification in dental nursing, and also went on to achieve her radiography and CBCT level 1 qualifications.

After many years as a dental nurse, Samantha completed her NVQ and Diploma in Management and Leadership. She has been managing dental practices full time for many years.

Samantha has a passion for dental implants and works closely with Dr Van Deventer to provide the best patient journey and care for anyone undergoing this treatment.

In the future, Samantha hopes to further her skills by completing a degree in Management and Leadership.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

Sara joined the team at Spring Shaw Dental in 2016.

She is dedicated to caring for our patients while simultaneously supporting the dentists with close, ‘four-handed’ dentistry techniques which help keep you safe and comfortable as your teeth are being looked after.

Sara is our head dental nurse, using her expertise in dentistry and her caring nature to train new nurses just stepping into dentistry.

Sara loves dentistry as a whole and works closely with the whole team. She also has a special interest in dental implants and nurses alongside Dr Van Deventer. Sara is an invaluable and helpful member of our team.
